This year the forum will focus on the 10-yr Strategic Plan currently under development by the school district. Parents and district partner groups and community members are being asked to review and provide input into the plan.
This will be an important opportunity to provide input into the plan. The district is also seeking comments online and at the next Toward the Future of Schools committee meeting.

The meeting presented an opportunity to comment on the values and goals (more directions really) that the district wishes to incorporate into the plan.
ReplyDeleteOverall the discussions were broad and relatively high level. A lot of ground was covered in the meeting and as is common with these events the discussion was varied, valuable and interesting but only managed to scratch the surface of what needs to be considered over the next 10 years in the life of the district. This diversity is well reflected in the summary of the findings from the meeting provided by the school district
